The D.H. Conley men’s tennis team topped J.H. Rose 5-4 in a crucial E.C.C. 3A match.
Tied at 4 matches all, the doubles team of Sean Jung and Drew Varnell out-slugged Owen Osborne and Perrin Jones of Rose 9-7, securing the overall win. Other Conley wins came from Will Vodicka, Alex Pittman, and Varnell in singles as well as the doubles team of Pittman and Matthew Hayes in doubles. The Vikings travel to C.B. Aycock Monday to complete a match that will decide the conference 3A champion.
