DH Conley girls took 5 of the top 11 individual spots to win their 4th consecutive Eastern Carolina 3A/4A Conference championship at Boyd Lee Park on Thursday. Conley finished with a low score of 27 points, followed by South Central in 2nd with 44 points and New Bern in 3rd with 56 points.

Hana Smith of New Bern won the individual title with a time of 20:30. Just behind Smith was Annika Stoakes( 20:46.9) who rallied to nip Maisy Woodmansee (20:47.3) of Rose at the finish line. Also scoring for Conley were Haley Ferrell (4th 21:27), Alice Guth (7th, 22:32), Caitlin Brown (10th, 23:26 and Hadlee Halsall (11th, 24:07).

Conley and Aycock will advance to the 3A East region championship on Jan 16th at Boyd Lee Park. CB Aycock will also advance in the team division while Maisy Woodmansee and Saline Kulas of Rose will advance as individual runners. South Central will advance to the 4A East Region Championships to be held in Wilmington.
